I played the course many times. The problem lies not in the golf course but a FEW of the members who are never satisfied unless the course condition is Augusta National - like. Don't get me wrong, the majority of the members are proud of their club. But the few members who consider themselves experts ruin it. I would love to see Healy Point chase those few members away for the sake of the club. Bob Miller Cocoa, FL

The greens on this course (my course)are pitiful.....and they have been all year! The rye grass covers about half of most greens and the rest is just bare. The fairways are soft and mushy and we have been "cart path only" 60% of the time over the past six months.

It's a good tough test with tees for every level of experience. It has some forced carries but none that are rediculous. To play well here would require that you play it several times t0 learn the nuances of shot placement.

Great Layout. A must play course. One of the best in the macon area for the price.

The pro allowed us to play the course without a member due to us being members at a course in Kansas. We had the course pretty much to ourselves and played in 3-1/2 hours. There were interesting holes which provided a good challenge. If we are in the area again, we will play this course. The pro and his staff couldn't have been nicer to us.
